Just a quick announcement to let you know the social community may be down for a while this weekend for site maintenance.

We have been extremely busy and have several things to update on GoJasonville in the coming weeks. The internal pages, the calendar, the GoSocial Community, rewards, merchandise, and more. The website is being revamped with a new look, new content, and new features, and may take some time to complete but hopefully the end result will be something you enjoy.

If you have news, articles, events or any other submissions we encourage you to join and submit to this blog so that nothing gets overlooked while we are busy updating the website.

You will notice the new fresh look that GoJasonville will be undertaking by visiting the GoJasonville.com homepage. The internal pages will look similar, with the vintage-modern scrapbook design. Considering it took 10 days to design just the homepage, it may be a while before we have the additional 150 pages updated so be patient, as we also have some client websites to complete for paying customers, along with working a full time job. Sorry for the stale content in the meantime, but hopefully you will be pleased with the end result.

Yay! We've been around 3 years this August. There have been a lot of changes these three years with many more to come. Thanks to all that have supported us in spreading the word about Jasonville, Indiana!

Registered users can now choose from predesigned avatars for their profiles.

If you are a registered member go to My Account and choose one of the predesigned avatars or you can of course upload your own or create one with the GoJasonville Community Dollmaker Game to upload. When using the Dollmaker make sure you resize the picture to 100 x 100 after saving your creation....

If you are not registered. Please register as there are many features to the website that you can not take advantage of as a non registered user....

If you haven't done so yet...

Don't forget to update your user profile and join the appropriate group in the "Yearbook". Join your fellow alumni, visitors, residents etc. User Profiles can be edited by clicking "My Stuff" and "User Profile" and filling in the information that you would like to post about yourself. You may add a photo by clicking "My Account" and uploading a picture from your computer. Also, watch for more modules to be added to the "MyGoJasonville" section. You will be able to add the content you want to your very own "MyGoJasonville" Page, filled with content that you choose.

GoJasonville has been working towards this feature for over a year and finally it is coming together. The GoJasonville News and Social Networking Community sponsored by the Woot Network.

Here are a few of the new features:

1. You will notice the new avatar gallery where you can personalize your profiles.

2. You can now design your own page by adding content and moving it around like MyYahoo, MyGoogle etc. We will be adding more droplets, widgets, gadgets etc. that you can add to this as time allows.

3. We have added a Yearbook where you can meet up with your classmates, other residents etc. Just join the group you are associated with. For now we have lumped them together by a few years, but if we get enough interaction we will seperate them per year.

So register today and take advantage of all these new features with still yet more to come. You will not be able to see a lot of the features unless you register.
